Bangkok, Thailand, June 20, 2024- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. showcased its portfolio of industrial automation products and process solutions for efficient and intelligent electronics production at the Manufacturing Expo 2024 at BITEC, Bangkok. This year, Delta Thailand and Universal Instruments, a global leader in precision automation solutions for smart manufacturing, highlighted integrated software and hardware solutions for electronics manufacturing processes and energy management for green factories.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Alan Chou, Delta Regional Director of Industrial Automation, said, “Thailand is growing into a hub for electronics manufacturing in Southeast Asia, especially Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly. Since last year, Delta’s industrial automation business in Southeast Asia has partnered with Delta company Universal Instruments, to offer smart manufacturing solutions to the semiconductor, PCB and EMS industries in Malaysia and Thailand. The RTM is used in PCB production for glue dispensing and screw tightening applications. It features a modular interface design for component replacement and maintenance with rapid deployment for flexible line changeover. The digital twin solution for equipment can save more than 50% commission time when running pilots for new products on the production line.
