Delta Showcases EV Charging, Energy and Data Center Solutions at Virtual ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2021

Bangkok, Thailand, October 14-16, 2021 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. showcased its EV charging, energy and data center solutions at the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) 2021 Virtual Exhibition. Delta’s renewable energy and energy efficiency products and solutions included a Power Conditioning System, Energy Storage, Solar Inverters (PVI), AC and DC Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers and the Point of Delivery (POD) Data Center Solution.

The ASEW 2021 is a fully virtual event due to current COVID-19 restrictions in Thailand. At an online pre-event press conference on October 11, Mr. Kittisak Ngoenngokngam, Delta Thailand Energy Infrastructure Solutions SEA Business Director, said, “Although COVID-19 may delay investment in green and energy efficiency innovation like EV charging stations, the situation is normalizing now. As a result, the industrial and business sectors have turned their attention to continuously optimizing and implementing new energy efficiency technologies which Delta can support.”

At the virtual ASEW 2021 event, Delta introduced the 200kW Ultra-Fast EV Charger to the Thailand market. This multi-vehicle ultra-fast DC charger provides EV drivers with the convenience of charging up to four cars at the same time. This new charger has two charge points for DC quick charging (up to 200kW) and two charge points for AC charging (2x22kW) to maximize individual charge rates and reduce waiting times.

Delta also introduced the M100A_280 Inverter to the Thailand market. The M100A_280 PV inverter has a peak efficiency of 98.7% and built-in and replaceable AC and DC-side Type II SPDs (surge protection devices). This inverter has 8 MPP trackers for optimum energy harvest on commercial rooftops with multiple angles and a wide input voltage range from 200-1100V.

In addition, Delta displayed the POD data center solution recently awarded with Uptime Tier III Ready certification. Delta’s POD solution leverages a fully modular design concept to offer pay-as-you-grow flexibility with short installation time to meet the rapidly growing needs of data storage and processing. All subsystems, such as modular UPS, power distribution, battery, cooling, containment, DCIM are integrated, standardized and reliable.

Other product highlights at Delta’s virtual booth included:

• DC City Charger with 50kW/100kW dual interface simultaneous fast-charging and 94% power efficiency.

• AC Max Charger with maximum 22kW output, global charging interface, IP55/IK08 and compact design.

• H4A solar inverter featuring 4.0kVA power output, 97.5% max energy efficiency and the capability to connect to MyDeltaSolar cloud and app.
