Melbourne, Australia, May 14-17, 2019– Delta Electronics Australia showcased its portfolio of industrial automation innovations for the second time at the National Manufacturing Week (NMW) 2019. Delta highlighted the company’s total solution and manufacturing capabilities with the Conveyor System demo and generated strong interest at the event.
The NWM 2019 held at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Center, is Australia’s largest gathering of manufacturing decision-makers under one roof. This year’s theme was “Industrial Evolution” to represent the transformation of Australia’s manufacturing sector into a highly-integrated, skills-based, and collaborative environment.
Delta’s Industrial Automation (IA) Conveyor System demo has showcased the highly capable control of the Mid-Range PLC AS300. One PLC is able to control a wide range of devices including Human Machine Interface DOP-100 Series (HMI), Micro Drive C200 Series, Machine Vision System DMV2000 Series, Photo Electric Smart Sensors, CliQ M Industrial Power Supplies (IPS) and the DVS 8-Port Industrial Ethernet Switches (IES), to carry out multiple automated manufacturing tasks.
Visitors were presented with varieties of Delta’s IA products which work in synergy to create an energy efficient automated conveyor solution. Conveyor systems play a crucial role in the production processes in Delta’s target sectors such as the food, beverage, packaging and material handling industries. Delta used its showpiece demo as a springboard to introduce the Delta brand and the company’s array of manufacturing solutions. In addition, Delta’s Power Quality Solutions have garnered much interest from visitors and increased the awareness of harmful harmonic currents in electronics products.
