Delta Electronics (Thailand) PLC. Wins CSRI Recognition 2013 Award

Thailand’s Corporate Social Responsibility Institute (CSRI), under The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), held its second CSRI Recognition award ceremony on November 11, 2013 to honor Thai-listed companies committed to operating with socially responsible manner and are good role models for sustainable businesses. The event was held at the SET Building. Mr. Supat Limpaporn, Independent Director of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PLC. was present to receive the CSRI Recognition 2013 Award under the Rising Star category from Dr. Chaiyawat Wibulswasdi, Chairman for the Board of Executive of CSRI. Winners in the Rising Star category are companies that have exhibited leadership in social responsibility and are taking part in the contest for the first time. Delta is already listed in the SET50 benchmark index. CSRI Recognition 2013 Awards highlight outstanding companies in CSR in the categories of Most Improved CSR and Rising Star. The judges had reviewed input from surveys, presentations and interviews from 200 companies and finally selected 40 of them for the awards. The survey covers environmental, social and governance issues in accordance with international practice. CSRI also intends to use the survey as a tool to evaluate companies seeking to become part of the SET Sustainability Index in the near future.
