HRH Princess Srirasmi paid a visit to “Breastfeeding Corner” of Delta Thailand

HRH Princess Srirasmi, Royal Consort of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn paid a visit to Delta Electronics (Thailand) Plc, Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Samutprakarn to observe the “Breastfeeding Corner Project” on October 6, 2008. Mr. James Ng, the Chairman and Mr. Anusorn Muttaraid, Director and the top executive of the Company gave a courtesy welcome to the Princess.

After having been inspired by the Princess’ project in promoting breastfeeding, Delta Thailand, being 1 of the 20 pioneers in this project, started establishing the campaign since June 6, 2007 as the management believes that it will help improve the quality of life of the employees who mainly are female by having a good balance of work and family life.

To promote this campaign, the Company provides the mother and employees who are in pregnancy with a proper area and facilities for breastfeeding, trainings on health tips to the pregnant staff to take care of themselves and also coaching to prepare themselves to be a good mother and how to feed their kids with breast milk after giving birth. Those mothers who feed kids with breast milk are permitted for some extra breaks during work to store their milk for their kids after work. With this Campaign, there are total 115 out of 124 pregnant staffs join this project.
