Delta Automation Academy 2024: Forging the Future of Thailand’s High-Tech Industry with Next-Gen Talent

Bangkok, Thailand – September 16, 2024 - Delta Electronics Thailand celebrated the success of its Delta Automation Academy 2024 Program with a Certificate Awarding Ceremony, recognizing the achievements of over 1,000 students from across Thailand. Approximately 200 student representatives from universities nationwide were selected to attend the ceremony and receive their certificates in person. In an era of rapid technological advancement, Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. continues to lead the charge in fostering the next generation of innovators through initiatives like the Delta Automation Academy, empowering students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the evolving world of automation and technology.

Delta Electronics Thailand has invested over 30 million THB in establishing state-of-the-art labs across multiple universities, benefiting students at seven leading institutions. These facilities are designed to ensure that graduates gain hands-on experience crucial for thriving in Thailand’s growing industrial automation sector, which is projected to expand from USD 389.52 million in 2022 to USD 668.78 million by 2030, at a CAGR of 5.83%, according to NMSC. This growth aligns with the Thailand 4.0 initiative, aimed at enhancing automation technologies in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and energy. As part of Delta’s broader mission to create a positive social impact through education, the Delta Automation Academy, launched in 2015, has already provided over 3,000 students with hands-on experience in power electronics, automation, and high-tech skills. Delta’s Industrial Automation Trainers have played a pivotal role in mentoring students, ensuring they develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this rapidly evolving sector, contributing to both the country's and Delta's sustainable development goals.
