Delta Thailand Gets 2022 Clean Food Good Taste Certification from Department of Public Health and Environment

Samutprakarn, Thailand, October 3, 2022- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. received the Clean Food Good Taste 2022 certification from the Phraeksa Municipality Department of Public Health and Environment for safe, healthy and excellent canteen facilities and food standards.

Department of Public Health and Environment conducted a voluntary annual audit at Delta factory and warehouse canteens to ensure the company provides clean, hygienic and quality food to all employees. This year the Delta Plant 1, Plant 3 and Warehouse in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate successfully passed the government’s comprehensive inspection.   

The Clean Food Good Taste project was launched in 1999 by the Bureau of Food and Water Sanitation and the Department of Health in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and Tourism Authority of Thailand. The project aims to promote food safety and hygiene in food establishments throughout the country.

As a major employer in Thailand, Delta commits to providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees. Delta provides markets, stores, vending machines, cafes and canteen facilities on company premises where employees can purchase a wide variety of food and beverages.

In addition to ensuring clean and healthy food, Delta manages food waste processing at our company canteen with a “FoodCycle” model that recycles food waste to benefit local farmers and reduce waste to landfills. Delta supports employees with subsidies on canteen food costs and meal allowance.
