Delta Participates in AOSEF ESG Investment Conference at Stock Exchange of Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand, November 14, 2019- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. joined the Asian and Oceanian Stock Exchanges Federation (AOSEF) Working Committee and Investor Education Working Group 2019, at the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in Bangkok, to share the company’s sustainable development strategy to 30 executive attendees under the event theme- Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) Investment and New Products for Investors.
          
Mr. KK Chong, Delta Thailand Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications and Sustainable Development presented the company’s sustainable development strategy, ESG milestones, key success factors, opportunities and challenges. “We must drive sustainable development efforts from the top to be effective because it is a long-term effort and not for short-term gain,” he said.

Over 30 years, Delta Thailand has established itself as the largest listed electronics manufacturer on the SET50 benchmark stock index. Domestically, the company entered Thailand’s Top Corporate Brand Hall of Fame 2019 after five straight years of winning the award and won the Thailand Energy Award for four consecutive years. Internationally, Delta Thailand listed in the FTSE4Good Emerging Index, part of London Stock Exchange Group, from 2017 to 2019 and received the 2018 RobecoSAM Sustainability Award Bronze Class.

Established in 1982, AOSEF comprises 19 stock exchanges as an organization to promote closer ties and cooperation between the region’s exchanges. The SET’s Investor Knowledge Development Department hosted the AOSEF conference and invited Delta as a guest speaker on “Enhancing Business Value by Integrating ESG Practices” to executive participants.
