Delta Receives Three 2019 CSR-DIW Continuous Awards from Ministry of Industry

Bangkok, Thailand, September 23, 2019 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. received three 2019 CSR-DIW Continuous Awards  from the Department of Industrial Works (DIW), Ministry of Industry for its outstanding continual improvement in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
 
At the CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2019 ceremony held in Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Mr.Kornphattawee Muangnoy, DIW Deputy Director General, presented the CSR-DIW Continuous Awards to Ms. Nannaphat Serithitivorachote, Delta HRD Manager, Ms. Parichat Leocharoen, DET HRD Manager, and Ms. Somboon Phothong, DET HRD Manager, who received the awards on behalf of Deltas Plant 1, Plant 5 and Plant 6 respectively.

This is the eighth consecutive year for Delta to win the award organized by the Department of Industrial Works under the Ministry of Industry. The award aims to foster social responsibility among Thai-based factory operators and encourage mutually between industry and the community.

In the past year, Delta’s CSR projects for factory employees and the community included the Delta Energy Education Program (DEEP), education grants for employees and their children, continuing education courses for employees, Safety WEEK, SD Week, Thai Red Cross blood donation drives and employee sports league sponsorship.  

Delta considers people to be its greatest asset and implements continuous improvement in all its CSR activities to meet the needs of its employees and communities.
