Samutprakarn, Thailand, September 19, 2018-Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. received recognition for the high standard of its 2017 Sustainable Development Report in an independent assurance by TÜV NORD Thailand Limited. Ms. Aonthip Aorthong, Delta Sustainable Development Sr. Executive, received the Independent Assurance Statement on behalf of Delta from Ms. Siranee Binuma, TÜV NORD Thailand Head of Business Development Safety & Sustainability, at Delta’s Samutprakarn headquarters.
Established in 1989 as part of the German RWTÜV Group, TÜV NORD Thailand provides testing, inspection, certification and training services to Thailand’s industrial sector. TÜV NORD Thailand collaborated with third-party TUV India Private Limited (TUVI) to conduct an independent assurance of Delta’s 2017 Sustainable Development Report. The auditors planned and carried out assurance engagement according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and the AA1000AS (2008). According to the TUVI Independent Assurance Statement, the 2017 Delta Sustainable Development Report met GRI reporting principles for defining report quality in areas including: accuracy, balance, clarity, comparability, reliability and timeliness.
