Delta Thailand Hands up with its Food Vendors to Support Local Farmers

December 8, 2016 Mr. Youngyut Phakduangchan, Human Resource Development Directors with Delta Thailand’s food vendors purchased a ton of rice from Samutprakarn’s farmers selling their products without middle-man process at Bangpoo Industrial Estate Office. Delta Thailand as the citizen of Samutprakarn province doesn’t overlook and tried our best effort to relief the 1,026 local farmers* suffering from Thailand’s broken rice price situation in Samutprakarn where areas of 28,026 rais* is contributed for rice farming.

Furthermore, the company and its food vendors are considering long-term purchasing of rice and related agricultural products with reasonable quality and price from local farmers to supply over 9,900 employees daily in the company’s canteen. To complete this scheme, Delta employees will be benefit from good health and well-being while the community’s farming business will possess sustainable growth.
