Mr. Dick Hsieh, President of Delta electronics (Thailand) PCL and chairman of the 2nd Batch of International Factory Police Association, received the certificate of completion for the 20th Batch of Factory Police Practical Program. Pol.Lt.Gen Suwira Songmetta (Ph.D.) , Assistant Commissioner General of Royal Thai Police and Chairman of the Board of the Factory Police Association presented the certificate to Mr. Dick Hsieh.
The field training was organized in cooperation with the Factory Police Association, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand and related local (Samutprakarn) government and private organization to realize His Majesty King Bhumibol’s message advice: “TO STOP THE SPREAD OF DRUGS, TO STOP THE DESTRUCTION OF THE COUNTRY”. 253 foreign executives had completed the 20th Batch training on May 10. The course was designed to train all the executives to impart the knowledge and practices to their organization and eventually accomplish the project’s objectives:
1. To effectively contain the spreading of narcotics via swift responses within workplaces
2. To join forces of business owner and the employees to promote synergy and corporation in a serious ongoing prevention and suppression of narcotics
3. To campaign against the use of narcotics to generate resistance and pressure on drug offenders
4. To provide an opportunity for the drug addicted patient for receiving treatment and rehabilitation as deemed appropriate
5. To provide strategic and comprehensive elimination of narcotics
6. To enable business owners control, and contain the problem continuously
The training was deemed a success from the positive feedback and attendance.
