Samutprakarn, Thailand, July 10, 2018-Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed over 100 suppliers and representatives of companies in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate to an open house and investment seminar at its Samutprakarn headquarters. The special event was an opportunity to showcase Delta’s smart green operations to its business associates and offer global opportunities at the company’s new manufacturing plant in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
During the open house, Mr. Kasemson Kreuatorn, Delta’s Senior Regional Manager for industrial automation, presented on how the Delta Smart Manufacturing system integrates devices, controls and communications for automated production. Next, Mr. Kittisak Ngoenngokngam, Delta SEA Business Director, presented on Delta’s smart energy management solutions for efficient green production and building management. After the presentations, Delta management led the visitors on tours of the company’s highly automated production lines, rooftop solar energy solutions and data center. Visitors then explored Delta’s extensive products and solutions portfolio used by global brands at the company showroom.
After the open house, Mr. Hsieh Shen-yen, Delta President, welcomed a Tamil Nadu Government delegation to give the “Investing in Tamil Nadu” seminar. Mr. Anusorn Muttaraid, Delta Executive Director, summarized Delta’s successes in India and encouraged the company’s business associates to grasp the opportunity to support Delta’s new manufacturing plant at Krishnagiri.
Next, Mr. M. Velmurugan IES, Tamil Guidance Bureau Executive Vice Chairman, highlighted the advantages of setting up operations in Tamil Nadu and ease-of-investment initiatives that the state government has implemented. Tamil Nadu is a major contributor to India’s growing economy with high urbanization, excellent infrastructure and a vast pool of trained professionals. The state government has set up single-window business approval, incentives and support systems for foreign companies. Mr. M.C. Sampath, Industries Minister Government of Tamil Nadu, thanked Delta’s business associates for attending and invited them to the province to enjoy prime investment locations and rewarding new business ventures.
