Ms. Wilailak Fungthanakun, Delta’s Company Secretary, and Mr. Hung-Tsun Chen, Sr. Manager SVEBU ESP Factory, represented Delta to receive the recognition at the event to promote Quality of Life for Working Woman and Family for Breastfeeding Project (Life begins with Breastfeeding). The plaque was presented by Mr. Peerapat Pornsirilertkit, Director General Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labor. The ceremony was organized by Thai Breastfeeding Center Foundation on February 14, 2015 at MCC Hall in The Mall, Bangkapi.
As 84% of the Company’s employees are female, Delta pays special attention to pregnant employees by setting up working corners for pregnant staff and providing them with antenatal training. The Breastfeeding room was established in 2008 to encorurage and facilitate breast feeding. The room allows pregnant employees to extract and store breast milk during working hours. This is a small contribution by Delta in appreciation for working mothers and to help enhance the well beings of their children.
