Delta Launches Thailand’s First 8K Documentary to Promote Culture and Sustainable Tourism with 8K Display Innovation

Bangkok, Thailand, August 3, 2023 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. launched Thailand’s first 8K documentary to promote local culture and sustainable tourism with world-class digital projection and display innovation. The 8K documentary, titled “The Hues of Faith”, was produced by Delta Thailand in partnership with the Thailand Entertainment Creators Network Association (TECNA) and Pixel Magic.

The Hues of Faith 8K documentary was inspired by Mr. Bruce Cheng, Delta Electronics Founder and Honorary Chairman, who has a strong passion to promote both 8K digital projection innovation and Thailand’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Since 2019, Delta has collaborated with 8K filmmakers around the world to produce pioneering and award-winning 8K documentaries. The world's first 8K environmental documentary "Water with Life" was produced by the Delta Electronics Foundation and NHK Enterprises to raise awareness for water conservation.

The Hues of Faith 8K documentary was filmed on location in Chiang Mai with hyper-realistic visuals of three famous temples, local arts and Northern Thai or Lanna culture. Through the power of 8K technology, viewers can experience an immersive journey through iconic Chiang Mai locations like Wat Ban Den, Wat Pa Dara Phirom, Wat Phra Sing and Chiang Dao Mountain.

In June, Delta Thailand held a premiere of The Hues of Faith displayed with the world-class Digital Projection INSIGHT Laser 8K projector at the CentralWorld Shopping Center.
