Bangkok, Thailand, September 19, 2022–Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed the delegation from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and Thai-Taiwan Business Association (TTBA) led by Dr. Chuang Suo-hang, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand and Mdm. Kuo Hsiu-Min, President of the Thai-Taiwan Business Association.
Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta Thailand President, welcomed Dr. Chuang, who was appointed Taiwan's representative to Thailand in June 2022, and the TTBA delegation. Mr. Chang introduced Delta’s longstanding investment and sustainable operations in Thailand that create opportunities and positive social impact for Thais for over 30 years.
In addition, Mr. Roger Lu, Delta Thailand Manufacturing Operations General Manager, gave the distinguished guests a tour of Delta’s efficient production lines with manufacturing automation systems and energy management solutions that meet Taiwan and US green building standards.
Finally, Mr. Chang introduced Delta’s products and solutions for Thailand and Southeast Asian markets at the company showroom and hosted a lunch and Q&A session for the honored guests. Both parties discussed joint activities to promote Taiwanese businesses in Thailand and cultural exchanges for Southeast Asian regional development.
In 2022, Delta Thailand joined two events by the TTBA to raise awareness of Taiwan products, tourism services, study abroad programs and food culture in Thailand. In recent years, Delta Thailand has signed MOUs with top Taiwan and Thai universities to offers international internships to Thai students studying in Taiwan.
