Liptovsky Hradok, Slovakia, March 29, 2022–Delta, a global provider of power and thermal management solutions, opened a new plant for precision production in Liptovsky Hradok, Slovakia. The new 5100 square meter plant will mainly produce cabinets and parts for Delta’s IT and telecom power solutions.
Delta established the new precision factory to help fulfill cabinet production requirements for the EU market and reduce raw material costs. The new facility is located at an existing factory of Eltek, a Delta Group company. Eltek is a global power specialist that develops, manufactures, sells and distributes cutting-edge power solutions and services.
Dr. CL Wu, Delta Slovakia General Manager, and Mr. KK Sim, Delta Slovakia Senior Manager, invited Mr. Branislav Tréger, Mayor of Liptovsky Hradok, and Mr. Nan-Yang Lee, Representative from Taipei Representative Office in Bratislava, to a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the new precision factory.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Branislav Tréger said, “Liptovský Hrádok is basically an industrial center of Liptov, although this region is considered as a recreational and tourist destination. Eltek has become a leader in the field of electrical engineering in terms of the number of employees as well as in terms of investment. Above all Eltek is a leader also in terms of production processes. Delta has brought hi-tech and network technology here and I am very glad that the factory was implemented in a miraculously short time of one year and two months since our first meeting.”
