Delta Electronics (Thailand) Receives Award on Healthiest Organization
March 3, 2017 Delta Electronics (Thailand) joined the Bureau of Occupational and Environmental Disease’s project on occupational safety, under the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Disease Control. Delta passed the relevant assessment criteria and was awarded the nation’s healthiest organization on 3 March 2017 at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok. Delta was awarded by the Department of Disease Control’s Director General Dr. Jedsada Chokdamrongsuk and received by Delta’s representative and Human Resources Manager Mrs. Nannaphat Sareethitivorachote.

The project on occupational safety is an initiative launched under policy to reduce diseases, with the objective of promoting good health and wellbeing amongst the working population. The Department of Mental health also has a 1323 hotline which is free 24-hours a day. Apart from advice, it also offers information on contagious and non-contagious diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cerebrovascular disease, cardiovascular disease and risks associate with road accidents, chemicals, electricity and machinery, as well as methods to prevent accidents in the workplace. Such information will contribute to a physically and mentally happy workforce with the motivation to carry out duties to the best of abilities.

A total of 600 companies applied to the project, only 76 of which passed the given criteria to whichDelta was one which passed the criteria and awarded with a national-level award.
