Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce Explores Delta Automation and Green Solutions

Samutprakarn, Thailand, May 25, 2018-Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed a 20 member delegation from the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) to explore Delta’s latest Industrial Automation, Green Building and EV Charging Solutions at the company’s headquarters in Samutprakarn. The Bangkok-based TICC’s main goal is to enhance cooperation between Italy and Thailand, by developing programs of common interest. The aim of the visit was for TICC members from various business sectors to see how Delta’s solutions enable Industry 4.0 era operations and to better understand the company’s business scope.

Mr. Johnny Tam, Delta’s Senior Business Development Director, welcomed the delegation headed by Mr. Michele Tomea, TICC Secretary General, and gave a company introduction. Delta managers then gave presentations to highlight the company’s industrial automation and energy-saving solutions for smart factories and green buildings. After the presentation, Delta showcased its extensive portfolio of products and solutions including automotive electronics used by top-tier global car brands. Next, Delta management took the delegation for a tour to see the company’s highly automated production lines and green building solutions including the rooftop solar energy solutions and EV charging facilities. Finally, Delta and TICC engaged in a discussion to share ideas regarding Thailand’s ongoing industrial development.

Overall, the TICC delegation was inspired to see Delta’s strong focus on businesses of the future. During the visit, delegates were keen to understand Delta’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions including smart LED lighting and intelligent surveillance solutions. Delta’s large global footprint, integrated portfolio and elite R&D network left a strong impression on the visitors.
